Hon. Consul General Madhu K Marasini handed over the images of the 11th Century Standing Buddha and the 12th Century Uma Maheshwore repatriated back to Nepal with the assistance of Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, to the Director General of Department of Archeology, Kathmandu, on April 4, 2018. The images were brought back to Nepal by CG Marasini and the Asia regional director and curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Mr John Guy.
