Hon. Consul General Madhu K Marasini & the Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania Hon. Julius Pranevicius held a meeting at the Consulate General of Nepal. Both CGs discussed the matters of mutual interest. CG Pranevicius has been named as Lithuanian Ambasador to India with a concurrent accreditation to Nepal as a non-residential Ambassador.

The Consulate General of Nepal celebrated the International Women’s Day together with the Society of Foreign Consuls (SOFC) in New York. During the occasion the Consulate’s nominee Dr. Bishnu Maya Pariyar, was honored as an outstanding woman leader representing Nepali community. Altogether 19 nominees representing different counties received such an honor by SOFC . 5th March 2018
Consulate General of Nepal in New York participated in the International Food Festival organized by the Society of Foreign Consuls, New York. The Consulate provided typical Nepali dishes such as MoMo, Sel Roti, which were very much liked by the participants. 30 Consulate Generals have attended the event.
