Consul General Mr Dadhiram Bhandari attended the Opening Ceremony of the New York International Trade Fair & Chamber Expo 2025 together with HE Ms Kelly Loeffler, US Small Business Administrator and Mr Mark Jaffe, President and CEO of the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce (GNCC).
Speaking at the ceremony, the Consul General underlined the value of partnership between Nepal and the US businesses sectors to unleash the untapped trade and investment potentials in Nepal. He also conveyed that Nepal is known for its natural beauty, mountaineering and adventure and encouraged the participants to visit Nepal.
The Expo is organized under the theme: Creating Economic Opportunities- Shaping a better future together organized by the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) at Times Square, New York on September 26, 2025. This one day event also features leaders Forum and several panel discussions and on trade future, tariff and emerging technology.
The Consulate General of Nepal in New York has set up a display table at the Expo venue to provide tourist information and distribute tourism related materials to the Expo participants. It has also facilitated the participation in the Expo of the Nepali businessmen who have been exporting Nepali products in the USA. Nepali export items like jewelry, artifacts, felt items are displayed in the venue. This is the annual grand event organized by the GNCC for past 24 years.
