Participation in the PATA’s Tourism Promotion event in New York

Today, the Consulate General of Nepal in New York participated in New York PATA Trade Show in Manhattan. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Dadhiram Bhandari, Consul General called for the Trade Show participants to prioritize Nepal in their travel packages and to spread the message that Nepal is safe to travel and offers holiday choices for all age groups. He also underscored that the US is the significant source market for Nepali tourism industry as the US visitors continues to be the second largest in the past several months. Sharing country’s iconographic themes - Nepal offers a lifetime experiences to the visitors and once is not enough- the Consul General requested the participants to prominently feature Nepal in their promotional activities.

The Consulate showcased and distributed Nepal’s tourism promotional materials in the Show and provided travel related information to the travel and tour entrepreneurs. The Nepal Tourism Board provided publicity materials to distribute in the event. This event provided opportunities to promote Nepal and network with the travel and tourism entrepreneurs and professionals. It was also utilized to convey the message that Nepal is safe to travel and called for prioritized marketing in their schemes.

The New York PATA Trade Show brought together top airlines, tourism boards and thought leaders from around the world. The event featured with exhibitions, presentations and networking. The Consulate has been collaborating with the PATA New York Chapter to promote Nepal in the east-coast of the USA.
